About

We're a mother-daughter-sister trio of makers of creative new things. In our world travels, we have discovered one thing: women all around the world collectively make things to survive long winters, to sell at market to raise income, or to share their culture and traditions. And generationally, we see that these art forms are slowly being lost and forgotten. We hope to share what we've learned with you, in the hopes that you'll pass along what you learn with others too. Because sharing in creativity is what we do.

knit.

When I lived in Russia back in 1997, I was teaching English to kingergarten students and Vika taught me to knit. I learned an "easy" pattern of celtic socks. I didn't speak Russian so when I messed up or didn't understand, I also didn't understand the frustrated explatives my knitting instructor flung at me.  I finally finished my socks and one was significantly smaller than the other, but I had learned an art that the locals needed to literally stay warm. My understanding of crafting went from thinking that we crafted for fun to realizing this is a necessity for so many people around the world. From Finland to the mountains of Peru, this art keeps their babies warm.

cross stitch.

From the moment I first picked up a needle and thread as a child, I was captivated by the calm rhythm and quiet beauty of cross stitch. Over the years, that simple joy has grown into a true passion — one that blends creativity, patience, and artistry. For me, stitching is more than a craft; it’s a form of meditation, a way to bring warmth and meaning into every tiny detail. What began as following patterns has evolved into designing my own, each piece infused with my personal style and love for the art of creating something by hand.
